How I use AI as a creative tool at BellaArt Creates

Hi my friends! I believe in being transparent about the tools I use here at BellaArt Creates, so I wanted to share a little about how artificial intelligence fits into my creative process.

I do use AI tools, including ChatGPT, as part of running BellaArt Creates. I may use AI to help with brainstorming, editing, research, developing content ideas, enhancing the presentation of my original photographs, creating occasional conceptual images, and handling some of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into maintaining my blog.

What I don't want AI to do is replace me.

The handmade projects you see throughout BellaArt Creates are projects I've actually made unless I specifically tell you otherwise or credit another source. When I use one of my own project photographs and AI helps me enhance or create a new presentation around it, the original project and photograph are mine. I also identify AI-generated or AI-enhanced imagery when appropriate.

AI is also part of my editorial process. Sometimes I write an article and use AI to help me edit or polish it. Other times I begin with my own experiences, thoughts, projects and ideas and work collaboratively with AI to develop them into a finished article. Either way, the personal experiences, opinions, stories and creative perspective I share here are my own, and I review, revise and approve what is published on BellaArt Creates.

For me, AI is another creative tool—much like the different software and technology I've used throughout the years to help bring my ideas to life. It can assist me, but it doesn't replace my hands, my experiences, my imagination or my voice.

I hope this little explanation helps you understand how I use AI here. I want BellaArt Creates to remain a place where I can share my real projects, my real experiences and my love of creating while also enjoying some of the new tools available to creators today.

Thanks so much for spending some of your time here with me!

Kim
